The vision of the Warren Woods Tower Wrestling Program is to help develop young men into the best students, athletes and human beings possible; to have them leave the program better for having been a part of the culture. We teach our wrestlers to represent their family, school, alumni and coaches in a way that reflects the values and traditions of WWT wrestling. This process begins at the youth level within the Jr. Titan wrestling program (ages 5 and up), continues in the middle school program and culminates at the high school level. We have a tremendous staff that has devoted their lives to achieving these goals (see bios).
To us the emphisis is placed on getting the most out of each wrestler that steps in our room, demanding more from them than they beleive they possess. To teach the life lessons of humility, good character, dedication, sacrafice and sportsmanship. Wrestling is not an easy sport, if it were more people woud do it. It is human nature to take the path of least resistance and we embrace those brave young men who choose this path, one of courage, growth and family.
I would like to thank Pat Threet for convincing me to take the best job I will ever have and sharing with me in most of the journey. I would like to thank the coaching staff and school district for their continued support. I would like to thank the parents, alumni and community for all that you have and will do for the WWT program. It is through your support that we may ultimatly reach our goal of winning a Team State Title.
